Public Safety Day

Join us for Public Safety Day!

DCBDD is partnering with Delaware City Police, YMCA, and Delaware City Fire Department to bring together the first Annual Public Safety Day. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of emergency personnel and community partners. Safety is important and we want to ensure people of all abilities have the resources to make safe and informed decisions. This event is for people of all ages. What to expect:

• Touch-A-Truck Experience – several emergency vehicles will be on site for attendees to enjoy including a Survival Flight helicopter (weather permitting)
• Smokehouse simulation
• Interaction and information from a wide variety of vendors (see list to the right)
• Optional breakout trainings to learn about CPR and First Aid, Water Safety, and Internet Safety
• The Paddy Wagon Food Truck – food available for purchase
